Girona goalkeeper Paulo Gazziniga has signed a new deal.
The Argentine has extended his contract from 2025 to 2027.
Gazziniga said: "I am very happy with how the club is, how it is growing. We will continue here until 2027, enjoying everything. When I arrived I already knew that there was a great project, but I did not expect it to generate as much as it is generating.
"Staying here is not a gamble because it was known that it is a club that was going to grow a lot and that is why I am very happy with everything that is happening."
He also said: "We are experiencing a very nice moment, both personally and professionally. Also, I am with my two-year-old son, which is the nicest thing that happened to me, and I am enjoying it a lot here in Girona.
"It is clear that there is a great feeling. The key is the locker room, the camaraderie and everyone rowing in the same direction. Here we all enjoy ourselves to the fullest."
