Confiscated items included strands of hair from a beard

According to a live press conference, Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, said that among the items seized, included strands of beard found at the home.

The confiscated items were turned over to JAKIM as they were believed to violate Islamic teachings and were linked to the banned Aura Muhammadiyah teachings from 1986 and the Al-Arqam movement, declared heretical in 1994.

PDRM responds to public criticism

Razarudin revealed that authorities managed to seize 16 vehicles valued at RM2.07 million, 26 animals (including 9 horses, 14 rabbits, and 3 peacocks), RM18,650 in cash, and two Amazfit watches worth RM600 each, all under Section 45(2) of AMLATFPUAA 2001 (Act 613).

He also addressed criticism on social media, where some users accused the police of failing to care for the animals confiscated from the GISBH properties.

He denies the allegations and clarified that the police have taken action in collaboration with the Department of Veterinary Services and the Local Authority to carry out inspections and ensure the well-being of the seized animals.

“Until we receive a disposition order from the court, the PDRM will oversee the feeding and care of the confiscated animals,” he added.

Rumour has it that some restaurants linked to GISBH were serving food made with Abuya’s feet water, but those places have come out to say that’s not true.

Abuya died in 2010, yet many followers of GISBH hold the belief that he remains alive in spirit, quietly watching over them.
