PENAMPANG: The GRS Government should provide financial and policy support to community-led programmes that help the needy in both urban and rural areas, said DAP Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang.
According to her, the essential unit of Sabah is the community, and if the spirit of cooperation is fostered, it may be used to help people who are in need.
Since regular government support is insufficient, she suggested that funding be given to community projects to fix houses, maintain public facilities like drains, and clean water gravity systems.
