Arsenal boss Unai Emery reveals that Mesut Ozil could be with the squad for the upcoming clash against Liverpool.
The two Premier League giants are facing off in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.
It is a chance for Arsenal to get one over the team that is currently top of the Premier League.
But Emery will rotate his squad, which gives Ozil a chance to play. And if he does start, he could be the captain.
"It depends, he [Ozil] could be (captain)," the Spaniard admitted to reporters.
"That conversation this morning was because I wanted to listen about how he was thinking now to help us tomorrow. It was a very good conversation.
"Tomorrow he is in the group. We need his quality, his skill. We need his consistency. We need his positive mentality. Then we need him to help us on the pitch."
