Leicester City are lining up Gary Cahill as a potential replacement for Harry Maguire.
Manchester United and Manchester City are heavily chasing England international Maguire.
Cahill is a free agent after his contract expired with Chelsea last month.
The Sun says Leicester could target the 33-year-old, should Maguire depart the King Power.
The Foxes want to add Cahill to their already solid centre-back stable of Jonny Evans, Wes Morgan and Filip Benkovic.
West Ham United and Crystal Palace are also interested in the former Bolton man.
