Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer attended their friendly win against Arsenal on Saturday.
Glazer was at the MetLife stadium to see the preseason win.
The American was asked by reporters for an update on the club's sale, with bidders Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim also waiting for news.
"I'm just here to enjoy the game", was his response and declined to comment further on the situation.
