The Glazer family are completely rethinking plans to sell Manchester United - and could withdraw the club from the market.
While they have offers from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim on the table, new consultation has seen the Glazers considering ending the bidding process.
Having sought 6bn to sell, they now believe United can be sold for a massive 10bn in a decade if they take on a minority partner, which would generate additional financing to redevelop Old Trafford.
The Glazers are also said to have been talking up their part in this season's success, namely appointing manager Erik ten Hag.
A new round of offers have been invited by the owners, though there's been little response from the two confirmed bidders.
