Manchester United's owners, the Glazer family, are open to selling the club or giving up a minority stake.
The two most high profile bids for the club have come from INEOS and the Qatar royal family.
Per The Mirror, the Glazer siblings are divided on what to do with United.
Some of them are hoping for a full sale to rid themselves of any association with the club.
However, Avram and Joel Glazer are more attached to United, and are still hoping for a minority sale to retain some or all of the control. Elliott Management have been in touch regarding such a prospect.
For their part, United fans are hoping for a direct sale, as they do not desire Glazer involvement for the long-term.
