GLOBE Telecom Inc. saw stronger demand from enterprises in the second quarter as corporate data revenues reached a record P5.9 billion, driven by higher domestic internet revenues and continued growth in business technology solutions.
The strong quarterly performance brought corporate data revenues to an all-time high of P11 billion in the first half of 2026, up 15 percent year-on-year, the telco said in a statement.
Both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter gains in the business segment were driven by higher core data revenues, led by domestic internet services, alongside continued strength in information and communication technology (ICT), primarily in business application solutions.
The first-half growth marked the first double-digit corporate data revenue growth for the period since 2023, according to Globe.
“Businesses are increasingly treating digital transformation as fundamental to how they operate, serve their customers, and prepare for future growth,” Globe Chief Commercial Officer Darius Delgado said.
“The sustained demand we are seeing reflects the importance enterprises place on reliable connectivity and technology that can help them become more efficient, resilient and competitive,” he added.
Globe Business has been expanding its enterprise portfolio across connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, business applications and artificial intelligence-enabled solutions as companies increase their adoption of digital technologies.
The growth also comes as Globe continues to increase spending on data-related infrastructure. The company invested P26.3 billion in capital expenditures in the first half, up 39 percent year-on-year, with about 91 percent allocated to data-related projects.
“Our focus is to grow alongside our enterprise customers, helping them turn technology into meaningful business outcomes,” Delgado said.
“As their needs evolve, we will continue strengthening our capabilities to support their transformation and long-term growth,” he added.
Globe Business recently highlighted these capabilities at G Summit 2026, which brought together business leaders to explore the use of connectivity, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and automation in addressing enterprise requirements.
The summit, which started Aug. 5 in Manila for its first leg and ended Sep. 3 in Davao for its final leg, carried the theme “Orchestrating Intelligence,” reflecting Globe Business’ focus on integrating different technologies to support operations.
