GLOBE Telecom Inc. on Monday said strong data demand was expected to drive growth this year, with revenues projected to rise in the mid to single-digit range compared to 2025.

Globe Chief Financial Officer Juan Carlo Puno told an online media briefing that the strong growth momentum seen in the fourth quarter of 2025 was expected to carry over into this year given strong demand for Globe’s mobile data services.

"We expect [that] our topline performance growth during the fourth quarter will put us in a good position to continue the momentum in 2026” on the back of sustained data demand, he said.

"Other factors that will drive growth include our prepaid products, as well as the right positioning of our enterprise business,” Puno added, expressing confidence that the telco would “be able to deliver strong growth in 2026.”

Globe earlier reported operating revenues of P178.24 billion for 2025, down 1 percent from the previous year’s P180.586 billion. This was attributed to inflation and the impact of natural calamities that affected services and dampened demand in disaster-affected areas.

Net income fell 4 percent to P23.262 billion last year from P24.286 billion in 2024.

One bright spot was a slight uptick in the mobile business, which posted service revenues of P116.85 billion and were said to have been driven by deeper data habituation, accelerating 5G adoption and hyper-personalized offers for customers.

Globe claimed a total mobile subscriber base of 65.8 million as of end-2025, up 8 percent from 60.9 million in 2024.

The telco’s shares on Monday added P15.00, or 0.87 percent, closing at P1,733.00 apiece.
