MANILA, Philippines — Globe announced that it has launched another Onsite Distribution Operations hub in the town of Angono, Rizal.
Jil De Castro, Globe’s Territory Business head, said the new facility located in Barangay Mahabang Parang was expected to bring broadband services closer to Rizal communities.
De Castro said the Angono hub would likewise bring Globe At Home applications, prepaid products, and customer support closer to residents and nearby communities.
Since more households, students, remote workers, and small business owners rely on stable internet connectivity for work, learning, communication, and daily digital activities, the telco executive said the center would also serve as a customer touchpoint to make Globe At Home services more accessible to them.
Supporting Globe’s broader initiative in expanding community-based service hubs nationwide, the facility would enable customers to conveniently access connectivity solutions in their own neighborhood.
Noting that more Filipinos continue to embrace digital lifestyles, De Castro said that Globe is even more committed to bring its services closer to where its customers live and work.
“Through hyper-localized hubs like the one in Angono, we are making broadband applications, prepaid services, and customer support more accessible while strengthening our connection with the communities we serve,” De Castro said.
Moreover, the Angono hub also functions as the go-to area for Globe At Home applications, prepaid transactions, product inquiries, and customer engagement initiatives within Angono and other nearby Rizal communities.
“By establishing more localized touchpoints nationwide, Globe aims to improve customer experience through faster assistance, greater convenience, and stronger grassroots engagement,” the Globe executive said.
Open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the hub will serve town residents as well as neighboring communities seeking access to Globe At Home, Globe Prepaid, TM, and GOMO products and services.
The center likewise reflects Globe At Home’s continuing efforts to expand its distribution footprint beyond major urban centers, ensuring that growing residential communities have easier access to reliable digital connectivity solutions, De Castro said.
De Castro said the facility was inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Globe representatives, partner organizations and barangay officials.
Present during the event were Maribel Mallari, CEO of Emviem; Regional Marketing Manager Trisha Dimandal; Trade Marketing Manager Johriel Zaragoza; Area Operations Head Nikki Gonzales; Area operations Head Adrian Adriatico; Business Development Expert B Nico Geron and Jason Sumang; and De Castro.
Globe vowed to continue strengthening digital inclusion by making connectivity more reliable and to support community programs including livelihood, disaster response, and digital education.
