Free agent Lewis Holtby is being lined up for a return to England.
Released by Hamburg, the midfielder is in talks with Blackburn Rovers, says Fussball Transfers.
Still only 28, Holtby is clear to sign for Rovers outside the transfer windows.
Besiktas made an attempt for the midfielder over the summer.
A move to Blackburn will be Holtby's third English club after Tottenham and Fulham.
