
Kota Kinabalu: State Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya urged the public to go for regular health screenings to prevent or obtain early detection of diseases.
“The culture of undergoing health screenings must be normalised in society, so they may know their health status.
“Health screenings allow for early intervention to avoid diseases from happening or worsening while reducing the cost of treatment. This step is also seen to improve the health and quality of life of our community,” he said.
