Manchester United cruised to a 2-0 win against Everton today at Old Trafford.
Scott McTominay's well-taken first-half effort and Anthony Martial's first Premier League goal since December were enough to give United victory.
However, United should have won by a greater scoreline, with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford making a string of fine saves and Aaron Wan-Bissaka somehow failing to finish into an empty net after Antony's shot had bounced straight back to him off a post.
There was also late concern for the hosts when Marcus Rashford was forced to leave the field and was pictured walking very gingerly up the tunnel to the home dressing room.
Along with Martial's goalscoring return, Christian Eriksen made his comeback as a substitute after two-and-a-half months out with an ankle injury.
McTominay later said: "Obviously it's nice to score. We could have scored three or four in the first half, We have to be more clincial, and I'm sure that's what the manager will say.
"I thought after the reaction against Brentford and the win on Wednesday, and [the result] last week at Newcastle, it was a good win.
"We wanted to play on the front foot and create chances and that's what we did."
