Hong Kong-born singer, songwriter, and GOT7 member Jackson Wang is set to make his long-awaited return to Malaysia this October as part of his ‘MAGICMAN 2’ 2025–2026 world tour.
The concert is set for 25 October 2025, marking Wang’s first live performance in Malaysia since his original ‘MAGICMAN’ tour in 2022. While he made a brief appearance on the red carpet at Louis Vuitton’s store opening at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in 2024, the upcoming concert will be his first time back on a Malaysian stage in three years.

The tour comes on the heels of Wang’s latest album, ‘MAGICMAN 2’, which made an impressive debut at #13 on the Billboard 200, cementing his place in history as the highest-charting Chinese artist ever on the chart. With this release, he also becomes the first Chinese artist to score two back-to-back albums in the Billboard Top 15.
Musically, ‘MAGICMAN 2’ signals a bold evolution for the GOT7 rapper. While he rose to prominence with catchy K-pop and solo hits, this new project ventures into more introspective territory. The album, which Wang both wrote and produced entirely, leans into slower, more contemplative sounds that reflect a deeper, more vulnerable side of the artist.
Thematically, it’s structured as a four-part journey exploring chaos, illusion, self-reflection, and healing—a narrative that draws heavily from his own life experiences. This offers fans a raw and personal look into his transformation, both as an artist and as an individual navigating fame.
The ‘MAGICMAN 2’ world tour will kick off in Bangkok on 3 and 4 October before making stops in Macau and Jakarta. Wang will then arrive in Malaysia on 25 October, followed by performances in Manila and Tokyo in November.
Although the venue and ticketing information for the Malaysian leg has yet to be revealed, fans are encouraged to stay tuned as additional cities are expected to be announced soon. For now, one thing is certain: Jackson Wang is bringing the magic back to Malaysia.
