LAHAD DATU: The Gotong-Royong Madani Programme inspired by the Ministry of Education (KPM) is seen as a good effort to provide a clean, comfortable and conducive environment for schoolchildren.
Segama Community Development Leader, Mizma Appehdullah, said it is a platform to strengthen cooperation between parents and the school which is vital to achieve the goal of providing the best education to children.
The programme is good in fostering unity as well as encouraging cultural and mutual cooperation among schoolchildren, she said when speaking at the programme and the Opening of the Anjung Pertiwi SK Lahad Datu III, Saturday.
She said the involvement of parents in children’s learning is necessary in shaping children’s personalities.
