Mario Gotze regrets turning down Liverpool earlier in his career.
Having come through at Borussia Dortmund, he had his big breakthrough when being sold to Bayern Munich in 2013.
In 2016, he returned to Dortmund, but says he regrets his decision.
"Probably the decision to go back to Dortmund. I should have made a different decision then. I had one or two other options and I visited Jrgen Klopp in Liverpool," recalled Gotze.
"It would have been good for me to go abroad after playing in Dortmund and Bayern. What I did then was four years later I just found a new setup."
Gotze is now playing in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt.
