
SANDAKAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, Sunday, announced that the Sabah Government has agreed to rename the Special Tasks Minister's Office as the Special Tasks and Coordination Ministry, effective immediately.
He said the decision was reached in a recent State Cabinet meeting.
"This decision is to recognise the Ministry's role in coordinating educational affairs and Islamic affairs in this State," he said at the State-level Maulidur Rasul celebration, here, Sunday.
Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin officiated the event.
