KOTA KINABALU: Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the government remains committed to empowering women and mothers through inclusive national programmes and policies.
She said the National Women's Policy 2025–2030, under the theme "Empowering Women, Strengthening the Nation", is now in place alongside major support programmes such as Prokit, Ikit, Mamacare, and Wanita Bangkit.
Speaking at the National Mother's Day celebration on Sunday, Nancy said these initiatives aim to support single mothers and unemployed women through skills training and employment opportunities.
