Datuk Fahmi Fadzil says the MADANI Government will support Malaysia’s creative industry and help local films, music and IP reach global markets

KUALA LUMPUR: The MADANI Government will continue to support local content production and help more Malaysian creative works and intellectual property (IP) penetrate international markets, says Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil.

He said this was among the matters discussed during a meeting with two local creative industry figures, namely Malaysian Film Producers Association (PFM) deputy president Datuk Dr Yusof Haslam and music maestro Datuk M. Nasir.

“We discussed the development of the local film and music industry, as well as how Malaysian talent and creative works can continue to be strengthened,” he said in a social media post, yesterday.
