Winners of PRI elections meet Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani in Ghumarwin.

The state government has released Rs 7 crore for completing the construction of the Mini-Secretariat building at Ghumarwin in Bilaspur district. This was stated by Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani while he reviewed various ongoing development works in Ghumarwin with Public Works Department (PWD) officials today. He said Rs 5 crore were previously released for the project.

Once the Mini-Secretariat building was completed, services from various departments would be available under one roof, he said. This would not only provide convenience to the people visiting Ghumarwin for various tasks, but also save their time and money, he said.

He pointed out that currently, offices of different departments functioned from scattered locations, causing inconvenience to the public.

Dharmani mentioned that the Mini-Secretariat complex would house offices of nearly 12 departments, including the SDM, Tehsil, DSP, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), AYUSH, Elementary Education, Information and Public Relations, Agriculture and Horticulture.

He also directed PWD officials to expedite the completion of the Mini-Secretariat building. He added that the state government would provide further funds if necessary to ensure the project was completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Additionally, he reviewed other development works in the Ghumarwin Assembly constituency and issued instructions for their timely completion so that the public could get benefits of government schemes.

He also addressed public grievances at the PWD Rest House at Ghumarwin. Winners of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) elections also met Dharmani. The minister while congratulating them said PRI representatives must work for the development and welfare of their respective areas.
