Hassan said the people need to continue to support the GRS Government so that all programmes and plans for the benefit of the people could continue and be implemented without interruption.

He said the people also need to continue to unite because racial unity is the main pillar of development and well-being of the state.

“We are grateful because of the understanding and unity of the people of multiple races, so we can celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Kaamatan Festival and other festivals together in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere,” he said.

According to him, this year is the second Kaamatan Fesival organised by Kalabakan District Office.

Hassan said that the Kaamatan Festival was celebrated to express gratitude for a good harvest and strengthen friendship and unity among people of multiple races and religions.
