Manchester United have flatly rejected a loan bid from Brazilian club Gremio for Facundo Pellistri.
The Uruguayan winger is not in favor at United under coach Erik ten Hag over the past 12 months.
Pellistri is being allowed to leave the club, either on loan or permanently, but only to a European team.
The winger has struggled to get regular game time at United, while a previous loan at Alaves was not a success either.
Pellstri may think that a move to South America would give him a chance to resurrect his career.
However, United want to know, per journalist Joo Batista Filho, whether the youngster can make it in Europe.
