Grimes screamed as technical difficulties hampered her Coachella set on Saturday (13 April).
The musician, 36, real name Claire Boucher, became frustrated as songs played at double speed.
Taking to X/Twitter to apologise after her performance, Grimes said a lesson for her was to "probably pretend it's fine and engage [with] the crowd rather than spend a whole show slumped over the desk trying to fix software when [you're] meant to be entertaining."
Grimes insisted her forthcoming show at Coachella’s second weekend will be "flawless."
