Kota Kinabalu: Market demand for avocado is high but growers or owners are still lacking in knowledge about proper caring of the fruit and its growth, said Sabah Durian and Tropical Fruit Association (MaSDa) President Duane Evan.
“There is high demand for avocado (local variety QA1) since its introduction by Agriculture Department two years ago.
“However, our local avocado producers are still lacking in knowledge and experience for better and quality yield.
