Kota Kinabalu: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has indicated his support for Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor to continue leading the state after Sabah BN withdrew their support to the Hajiji-led government.
“We want the Sabah Government to remain strong under the leadership of the Chief Minister (Hajiji).
“We give a chance to the Chief Minister to discuss and find a formula that is good for the benefit of Sabah,” Anwar told reporters before he left the Chief Minister’s official residence, Sri Gaya, here, after midnight.
Earlier, Anwar and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi met with Sabah BN chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin and Warisan president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal at the Magellan Sutera in Kota Kinabalu.
