GRS firm on unity, stability and delivering results for Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor reminded GRS leaders of Sabah’s tough political landscape since 2020, stressing the coalition was formed to give the state its own voice and direction.

He warned that unity often collapses near elections as some leaders prioritise positions over principles, saying such behaviour reveals “true colours.”Hajiji said these experiences should strengthen, not weaken, GRS and Gagasan Rakyat, urging leaders to stay united and mature.

He dismissed rhetoric about being the “most local,” saying people care more about jobs, economic growth and stability.

He added the GRS government inherited a weak economy and instability during the pandemic but chose to focus on governance, recovery and long-term development under the Sabah Maju Jaya plan, promising results over empty talk.
