Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan (Warisan) Chinese Co-ordinator Chin Tek Ming said Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is not a genuine local party, but a camouflage under Bersatu where Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is the President, in reference to the announcement by Muhyiddin that any seat won under GRS would be a seat won under Perikatan Nasional.

“Of course Parti Bersatu Sabah, Star, SAPP, Upko, PBRS are local parties. However, these parties are not contesting under their own flags. They are using a common flag under GRS that is currently led by Bersatu,” he said in a statement.

“Sabah and Sarawak are the biggest oil producing states in Malaysia. Malaya parties cannot penetrate Sarawak under GPS so all the Malaya parties are in Sabah to continue their inteference in Sabah politics through divide and rule in order to continue dictating policies to our Sabah leaders,” he said.

He added that a Sabah leader under a Malaya party will always be subject to the partys directives.

“(This happens) even in Pakatan Harapan, no matter how hard working their YBs are.

Even PAS (Parti Islam Se-Malaysia) has been given one nominated state assemblyseat, namely YB Dr Aliakbar Gulasan who is also the Sabah PAS Secretary.

He said leaders and members from PAS are nowhere to be seen during this campaign period.

Does GRS worry that by the presence of PAS, the KDM, Chinese and open minded Muslims will vote against GRS?” Chin asked.

“Vote Warisan and ensure Sabah and Sarawak can form a solid Borneo Bloc to get back what is rightfully ours under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63),” he said.
