KOTA BELUD: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) campaign in Kadamaian gained momentum with Kiulu candidate Datuk Joniston Bangkuai joining the local machinery to rally support for GRS candidate James Muyou.

Joniston’s presence, along with leaders from outside the constituency, underscored GRS’s focus on Kadamaian, which is seen as a key seat in the state election.

He said cross-constituency cooperation has long been part of the coalition’s culture, reflecting solidarity and unity within the party.

Joniston, who has been active in rural tourism development in Kadamaian, stressed that a stable local coalition is crucial to ensuring Sabah retains a strong voice in its development agenda.

He urged Kadamaian voters to support James, saying a GRS victory would help maintain political stability and continuity in development efforts in the constituency currently held by UPKO president Datuk Ewon Benedick.
