he Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) partnership, formed in the aftermath of the failed political coup attempt in January 2023, will remain a genuine and lasting collaboration, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
He said PH Sabah’s strong support during the “Langkah Kinabalu” episode helped GRS maintain stability, allowing the state government to continue its administration until today.
Hajiji, who is also Gagasan Rakyat President and GRS Chairman, added that the cooperation has brought tangible progress to Sabah and must be preserved for the continued benefit of the people.

He also praised component parties such as PBS, Star, SAPP, Usno, PHRS, LDP, and PCS for their unity and contributions in strengthening GRS as the largest local alliance in Sabah.
He said the commitment shown by these parties, including at recent events like the PBS-Star Convention, reflects a shared determination to keep Sabah led by local parties well into the future.
