TUARAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is ready to face any opponent in the upcoming 17th State Election.
He said this reflects GRS’ stance, but any formal decision on political cooperation must be made by the coalition’s Supreme Council.
Hajiji said this after officiating Sulaman Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah’s (Gagasan Rakyat) annual conference here on Sunday.

He added that BN had already indicated a lack of interest in collaborating, and GRS would not force any party into cooperation.
Armizan had earlier said he agreed with Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin that GRS and BN should contest separately in the election.
