Grand Theft Auto VI is arguably the game that most gamers are waiting for right now, and we finally know when we can pre-order it.
Rockstar Games has announced that pre-orders for GTA VI will be going live on 25 June, available on the Playstation Store and the Microsoft Store for the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S respectively. However, despite rumours of a new trailer for the game being revealed at the same time, Rockstar has only announced the pre-order and cover art today.
They’ve also officially revealed the cover art for GTA VI, and just like every GTA game before this, there’s a helicopter on the top left tile. This is a little Easter egg that Rockstar has followed over the years, starting from Grand Theft Auto III back in the PS2 days. Then there’s also the supposed protagonists of GTA VI, Jason and Lucia, right above the game’s logo itself.
Grand Theft Auto VI will officially launch later this year on 19 November 2026, having been delayed from its original intended release date of 26 May. Unfortunately for PC gamers, the game is only going onto consoles for now, and seeing as Malaysians don’t currently have access to Xbox consoles, the PlayStation 5 and 5 Pro will be the only way for us to play GTA VI when it finally comes out.
