Pep Guardiola says Julian Alvarez will play a vital role for Manchester City this season.
The Argentine has impressed his manager since arriving from River Plate in the summer.
Alvarez played an important role in Saturday's comeback win over Crystal Palace, and Guardiola believes the youngster will play an important role in his attack.
Guardiola said: "It's going to come. It's going to come more.
"Gundo learns it, two goals he's scored a little bit there, Gundo learned it in the middle. It's important for us to have a guy like him [Haaland], Julian as well, you will see when he plays. Last game in Barcelona he could have scored a hat-trick easily.
"I see in the training sessions with Julian. He does everything, a guy with an incredible sense of goal. The second goal, a cross, Julian fights because he's there, we need people there. The second ball to Phil, Phil makes a good cross and Erling finishes."
