Kota Kinabalu: Veteran runner Guianus Salagan captured the title at the D’Adventure of Kopungit Trail – a 10,000 steps programme organised by Jalan Kebajikan Health Clinic Advisory Panel at Kampung Kopungit hill on July 15.
He clocked 33 minutes and 06 seconds (33.06s) to beat second place Madusun Rumondog (34.40s) followed by Aznil Faez Ismail (34.50s) in third.
The top three winners each won cash RM500, RM300, RM200 respectively, while the fourth to 20th finishers each received RM100.
The hiking (walk) non-running event with some 150 participants was flagged off by Kampung Kopungit village head John Francis.
