BUTTERWORTH – A man in his 40s had a close brush with death after his vehicle was shot at multiple times while he waited outside Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Nyiur this evening.
He was reportedly in his four-wheel drive waiting to collect his child when two individuals approached and fired several shots at the driver’s side before escaping on a motorcycle.
Despite the attack, the victim was unharmed.
Video clips showing the bullet-riddled vehicle quickly went viral on WhatsApp.
Seberang Perai Utara district police chief Anuar Abdul Rahman, when contacted by Scoop, confirmed the incident and said investigations are ongoing.
