In a prestigious recognition of administrative prowess and commitment to public service, four senior IAS officers from Haryana have been featured in the elite list of the top 100 District Magistrates in India. This comprehensive evaluation was conducted through a joint survey by Fame India and Asia Post, spanning nearly 800 districts across the country.

The officers were assessed rigorously against ten critical parameters, including administrative efficiency, speed of decision-making, responsiveness to public grievances, institutional innovation, and the successful execution of high-impact development projects. This achievement highlights the evolving landscape of governance in Haryana, where dedicated leadership is driving tangible improvements in the daily lives of citizens.

Former Gurugram DC Ajay Kumar earned his place on the list for his strategic interventions in managing the complex logistical demands of a burgeoning cyber city. His tenure has been marked by a significant overhaul of the traffic management system and the rigorous, real-time monitoring of large-scale infrastructure projects. By fostering superior inter-departmental synergy, Kumar has successfully streamlined the integration of essential citizen services into accessible digital platforms, ensuring that development keeps pace with the city’s rapid expansion.

Similarly, Faridabad’s current DC Ayush Sinha was lauded for his refined approach to urban management and his emphasis on accessible public dealing.

Sinha has prioritised the creation of a seamless grievance redressal mechanism, ensuring that the concerns of the common man are resolved with urgency. His proactive focus on accelerating key urban development projects has significantly boosted the district’s growth trajectory, earning him widespread commendation from both local stakeholders and administrative observers.

The list also honours Sonepat DC Neha Singh, whose efforts have centred on systemic educational reform. Recognising the critical need for integrity in academic environments, she implemented highly effective measures to curb malpractice in board examinations, thereby ensuring a fair and transparent system for students. Moreover, Panchkula DC Satpal Sharma was recognised for his unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order, as well as his dedication to establishing complete transparency within government recruitment processes.
