Barcelona will allow Carles Alena to leave in January.
Sport says the midfielder has only played 45 minutes in La Liga and in the winter window will go out on loan to get time on the pitch elsewhere.
Barcelona know he needs to play for his development but the club will not allow him to have an option to buy in the loan deal. They want to send the 21 year old to a La Liga team ideally.
Alena knows he will leave in January and there are plenty of options.
Tottenham are watching developments closely.
