Following the opening of order books earlier this month, GWM Malaysia has officially pulled the covers off the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 HEV, adding a self-charging hybrid variant to its flagship executive MPV line. The launch builds on the momentum of the plug-in hybrid GWM WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV, which has crossed the milestone of 2,000 deliveries nationwide and holds the crown as Malaysia’s top-selling luxury MPV priced above RM200,000.

Positioned alongside the PHEV variant priced at RM269,800, the new WEY G9 Hi4 HEV carries a retail price of RM249,800 in Peninsular Malaysia (excluding Langkawi), opening up the executive three-row cruiser to buyers who want electrification without having to plug in.
