
Kota Kinabalu: A 31-year-old man was jailed six years and ordered to get two strokes of the cane for taking syabu repeatedly.
Sessions Court Judge Noor Hafizah Mohd Salim meted out the sentence to Mohd Azhar Raini.
Mohd Azhar was found guilty of taking the drug on April 20, 2022 at 12.05am after his urine was tested positive for drug at police station here.
He has two previous conviction records for taking drugs.

The court ordered him to be placed under police supervision for three years.
Six prosecution witnesses and one defence witness were called during the trial.
