Hajiji commends Sabahan’s bravery on Gaza aid mission

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, on Monday, met with Sabahan volunteer Sul Aidil Sudi, who recently returned from the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) humanitarian mission to Gaza.

Sul, from Tawau, shared his experience with Hajiji, recounting the tense moments when the flotilla was intercepted by Israeli forces in international waters.

Hajiji commended Sul for his courage and expressed relief that he and the rest of the Malaysian contingent had returned safely from the mission.

Sul was accompanied by Khairul Azlee Mohd Yunus from Sandakan, who served as part of the GSF Malaysian ground crew in Spain.

Another Sabahan volunteer, singer Zizi Kirana, could not attend the meeting due to a prior engagement.
