TUARAN: Chief Minister and GRS Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is confident the GRS–PH alliance will form the next government.

Hajiji, contesting the Sulaman seat, filed his nomination papers this morning with GRS leaders and supporters.

Incumbents Datuk Jasnih Daya (Pantai Dalit), Datuk Joniston Bangkuai (Kiulu), and new candidate Dr Bonaventure Boniface (Tamparuli) also submitted nominations.

Sulaman faces a five-cornered contest, Pantai Dalit seven, Kiulu eight, and Tamparuli 13 candidates.

Hajiji expressed optimism of a strong GRS win in Sulaman and warned that GRS members running as Independents will face expulsion.
