Kota Kinabalu: Sabah has proven that its economy is resilient, demonstrating growth despite challenges over the last few years, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

"We have done well in terms of investments across key sectors, attracting both domestic and foreign investments," he said in a speech read at the Sabah Top Achievers 2024 Gala Awards Dinner held at the Sabah International Convention Centre, here, Thursday night.

"For 2023, Sabah recorded RM11.34 billion in investments, placing it as the seventh highest in Malaysia with 13.3 percent from the manufacturing sector alone.

"These success stories demonstrated Sabah’s capability to attract global players in diverse industries, ranging from high-tech manufacturing to renewable energy based products highlighting the state’s growing reputation as an attractive investment destination."
