Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah State Special Grant from the Federal Government and the related gazette has nothing to do with and does not eliminate Sabah's claim to 40 per cent of the Federal Government's net revenue in the state, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

The Federal Constitutional Order (Review of Special Grants Under Article 112D) State of Sabah) 2022 that was gazetted was only to enable the interim payment of the special grants to be made, he said while giving his winding-up address for the Ministry of Finance at the Sabah State Legislative Assembly sitting, here, today.

Hajiji, who is also the Minister of Finance, explaned the issue raised by the Tungku, Moyog, Bugaya, Kunak and Darau assemblymen.
