KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor called on Sabah’s Chinese community to be a strategic partner in the state’s development, urging close cooperation with the government under the Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0 (SMJ 2.0) plan to drive economic growth, human capital, and community well-being.

He emphasised that progress under SMJ 2.0 is meant to be inclusive, benefiting all races, with unity as a key to stability and prosperity.

Marking the Year of the Fire Horse, Hajiji said the festival’s themes of family, unity, and innovation inspire continued collaboration for sustainable and balanced development, wishing the Chinese community a Happy Chinese New Year.
