Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said he wants at least 30 per cent of Petronas contractors in Sabah to be locals.
He said in order to reach that 30 per cent target, local contractors or companies need to be groomed to be involved in Petronas services.
“Right now, we have only 11 per cent participation, which is insufficient. We want at least 30 per cent participation from our local contractors in Sabah,” he told the media after the closing ceremony of the State Youth Assembly sitting, here, Tuesday.
