Tenom: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) President Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor wants the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) to ensure victory in the Melalap State seat in the next State Election.

He said he does not want the people of Melalap to be on the losing end because they are represented by an opposition.

Therefore, he wants members of GRS here to unite to ensure victory for GRS-PH Plus in the Melalap State seat.

“I always remind the leaders to learn from past mistakes. Sabah is lagging behind due to disunity.

He said this in his speech when officiating the annual meeting of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Melalap division here, recently.

Regarding the proposals approved by Gagasan Rakyat Melalap Division during its Annual Meeting, Hajiji assured that he will look into them and weigh as best as possible.

On land matter, he said there are many applications that have been made for many years but until now have not been approved.

”There is a village land established in the Forest Reserve area. I will release it so that the people can live on the legal village reserve land.

“After we took over the State government, thousands of acres of land were removed from Forest Reserves throughout Sabah. Hence, I will take serious note of the same issue in Tenom district,” he said.

Also present were Melalap Gagasan Rakyat divisional head Datuk Jamawi Jaafar, Kemabong Gagasan Rakyat Divisional Head Datuk Rubin Balang, Sabah Gagasan Rakyat Treasurer Datuk Seri Ghulam Haidar Khan Bahadar, divisional heads, GRS and Pakatan Harapan component parties heads.
