Half of Britain wants to rejoin European Union major new poll finds

  • A major Messina Group poll of 11,461 UK adults revealed that 49 per cent of voters support rejoining the European Union, compared to 28.5 per cent who remain opposed.
  • The survey indicated that negotiating a closer relationship with the EU could boost Labour's vote share by up to seven percentage points, largely by attracting voters from the Green Party and Liberal Democrats.
