- Half of Gen Z Britons believe Brexit has been a failure, according to new polling data.
- Three in five of 18 to 28-year-olds, who were unable to vote in the 2016 referendum, would vote to rejoin the EU if there was another vote.
- Meanwhile, only 9 per cent of those surveyed would choose to remain outside the bloc in another referendum.
- The polling, conducted by More in Common for The Guardian, surveyed 440 young people across the country.
- Executive director of More In Common, Luke Tryl, said: “Interestingly, few think the principle of Brexit was doomed from the start – like the rest of the public, they tend to say it could have worked well, but that politicians ruined it.”
