Tottenham are a more genuine title contender than Arsenal, insists Dietmar Hamann.
The retired Germany midfielder, 49, who played for clubs including Liverpool and Manchester City, says Spurs have impressed him this season.
Hamann told the Games Cabin: "Manchester City started as favourites and I believe they will remain favourites.
"Liverpool are five points behind them now and we know how hard it is to make points up on Manchester City.
"I think both sides need to be aware of Tottenham. Arsenal have had spells in the past where they didn't win for three or four games and that doesn't usually happen to Liverpool and Manchester City.
"So I believe Tottenham will be more of a threat to them than Arsenal."
