Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor expressed his condolences to Datin Kalsom Abd Aziz and her family on the passing Sunday night of State Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Mohamad Hamsan Awang Supain.

Hajiji described Mohd Hamsan’s passing as a loss to Sabah, particularly to the people in his constituency, Sungai Sibuga.

“On behalf of the State Government, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family. May his soul be showered with Allah SWT’s blessings and be placed among the souls of the faithful and righteous,” he said in a statement, Monday.

In the 16th Sabah State Election (PRN) in 2020 he represented Barisan Nasional (BN) and won the Sungai Sibuga, defeating four other candidates with a majority of 1,538 votes.
